Animal dissections are used in schools because they help kids have a hands on way of seeing what happens inside a body. Things such as looking at the digestive system and the veins and muscle. I also dont think animal dissections r good in schools because if a kid has a weak stomach then…well you can see where im going with that. The dissections can be good for showing kids how the body works in animals. This is why i think animal dissections are used in schools.

When i did my experiment i learned that lemon juice actually made Diet Pepsi explode because we didn’t think it would do anything but it turned out that it made the Diet Pepsi explode the highest. I liked that our hypothesis wasn’t right because if we knew what was going to happen the experiment would have been no fun. I wish i knew more about why the lemon juice made the Diet Pepsi explode the highest instead of the Mentos like we thought.

I believe that in a million that Mount Kenya will be half the size it is now. I think this because most likely water and or ice will erode most of the mountain away. This would be reasonable because a million years ago this same thing happened. This is what i beleive will happen to Mount Kenya in a million years.

 I believe that God created the universe because it says clearly in the bible that “God created the Heavens and the Earth” Genesis 1:1 (Heavens and Earth also means universe). I believe this because the Bible states facts and does not lie. Plus, it is not a theory that God created the universe, but the big bang theory is a theory and is not for sure true. Also, if you look in the bible it says the bible does NOT lie, and it says in the Bible that God created the universe. I do not believe that the big bang theory is true because i don’t thing all the planets and the suns can just randomly appear it the perfect place where they are not to close to the sun or to far away from it. This picture below is a picture of a telescope looking into our galaxy and the cross inside is like his mark on the universe. This is how i believe the universe was created.

We only see the results of what happens in a chemical reaction. Some of the things we see are bubbles, smoke, change in color or sound, and odor change. We don’t see what really happens which is bonds break and new bonds form. Plus, atoms come together and the valence electrons find slots to fill. This is what really happens in a chemical reaction.

We need to know science safety rules before we do a lab. If we don’t know the rules and are dealing with dangerous chemicals, we can get poisoned, burned, and somebody hurt. In this situation you would need to know these rules: wear goggles, gloves,aprons, and to read the instructions. For example, we would want to read the instructions together and let everyone ask questions if needed. Also, everyone needs to know where the fire extingisher and fire blanket is in case of fire. Plus, we need to know where the emergency electricity turn off  button and the eye wash station is in case of something in eye or someone getting an electric shock.  These are some reasons and examples of why we need to know science safety rules before a lab.
